A few miles far from Vico Equense, between Naples and Sorrento, is Villa
Giusso Astapiana, a former monastery transformed in an elegant Manor House.

As you walk through the stone archway into the main courtyard, you feel as
though you have stepped back in time. The owners have kept its original
seventeenth century structure in the main building, the hermits' cells, the
wine cellar with original barrels, jars and wine presses, the original
kitchen completely tiled with Vietri ceramics.
If you are looking for something different, Astapiana is the answer. You can
relax on the incredible stone terrace overlooking th Bay of Naples and
Vesuvius, take a walk through the grapes vineyards and olive groves or
simply take a look around the many wonderful amenities of the Monastery.
Though not for everyone, Farmstay Villa Giusso is nonetheless fascinating and
intriguing. Off the one long corridor, are three double bedded room and one
family suite, appointed with worn period furniture. All rooms have access to
a private bathroom newly renovated.
