Agriturism Le Conchiglie is located in the town of Sasso Marconi, at 600 metres above sea level in a wonderful standing on the Bologna�s hills. The farm started up in 1963, taken over from a state of total neglect, with crumbling and falling down structures or pulled down parts (Marzabotto Slaughter). All the 5 buildings have been rebuilt and restored during 8 years, with total respect to the surrounding environment (stone walls) while new infrastructures, before absent, were created (road networks, waterworks, electricity and today even the Internet). At the same time, a zootechnic activity was created with milk cattle-raising, together with the restoration of important sowable lands, partly transformed in permanent pasture lands of diverse cultivations before absent.
