Salamina is the name which the Masseria has had since 1600, when the existing settlement was expanded and the olive trees were planted, which are now more than 400 years old. . The Masseria has undergone various renovations and alterations over the course of the centuries The chapel was reconstructed in 1792, being enlarged into the existing church.
