The farmhouse is situated in a village immersed in the greenery of pine forests of Pinerolo in Piedmont at 950 metres above sea level. The surrounding area is ideal for country walks and excursions, and is also well known among mushroom pickers. It's the perfect place to breathe in fresh air, relax and recharge your batteries. The farm itself specialises in the rearing of livestock, the production of cheese (particularly the famous 'Tomini di Talucco') and the cultivation of vegetables and small fruits. The farm has been renovated, is easily accessible and is superbly equipped for receiving guests. Its services include the provision of traditional cooking with organic ingredients, accommodation in independent chalets (complete with their own private bathroom) and the availability of guided tours and bicycles for hire. From the farmhouse, across a comfortable footpath winding through the enchanting alpine scenery, you can reach the "Rocca Sbrarua", a well-known rock face used by climbers for training and a symbol of Piedmont mountaineering. Likewise, art lovers will no doubt be attracted by a visit to the historical town centre and the numerous museums in nearby Pinerolo and Turin. |
